Ricardo C. Rodrigues
Chemical Engineer, Ph.D. and M.Sc. from COPPE/UFRJ, with certification in Innovation Management from CBS/Dancert. Researcher at the Brazilian National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) since 2006, where he served as Coordinator of the Academy of Intellectual Property, Innovation, and Development. Professor in the master's and doctoral programs at INPI, the Professional Master's in Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer for Innovation (PROFNIT/UFRJ), and in the MBAs in Innovation Management and Technological Capability at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV).

Ana Carolina S. Pereira
CEO of Tratta, a startup specializing in the structuring and valuation of intellectual property assets.
Information scientist, graduate of UNIRIO, with an MBA in Business Management and Information Systems from UFF. Holds a Master’s and Ph.D. in Intellectual Property and Innovation from the Brazilian National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI). Has over ten years of experience in technology forecasting, intellectual property, and technology transfer.

Aline F.C. da Silva
Attorney with over 15 years of experience in the field of intellectual property, having worked at renowned specialized law firms and in the legal departments of major corporations. Holds an LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Cambridge, where she was a Chevening Scholar in the 2014/2015 academic year. Serves on the Cultural Board of ASPI as Coordinator of the Dispute Resolution Committee.

Bernado S. Cabral
Economist, graduate of IE-UFRJ, with a Master’s in Business Administration from COPPEAD-UFRJ and an exchange program at ESSEC (France), and certified Innovation Manager by Dancert (Denmark). Currently serves as General Coordinator for Technology Contracts at the Brazilian National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI), with experience in financial and strategic planning for large multinational corporations and as a management consultant at Bain & Co.

Daniela Uziel
Professor at UFRJ, Director of InovaUFRJ, specialist in biomedical innovation, entrepreneurship, and public policy. Holds a Medical degree from UFRJ (1995), an MSc (1997) and PhD (2001) in Sciences (Biophysics), and a second PhD in Public Policy (2019). Since 2012, she has worked to strengthen UFRJ’s innovation ecosystem.

Araken Alves Lima
Economist, Ph.D. in Applied Economics from UNICAMP (2006), and Industrial Property Technologist at the Brazilian National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) since 2006. Has served as Academic and General Coordinator at the INPI Academy of Intellectual Property, as well as faculty member in INPI’s master’s and doctoral programs and in the PROFNIT network. His research focuses on the Economics of Intellectual Property and Innovation. Since 2015, he has headed INPI’s Regional Outreach Section in Santa Catarina.

Dr. Bijay K. Sahu
Dr. Bijay Kumar Sahu is a technology, IP and innovation management professional with 20+ years of experience. He holds an MPhil & PhD from JNU, New Delhi, and an Executive Diploma from Copenhagen Business School, and received the Royal Danida Fellowship. Currently heading the IP, Technology & Innovation Support Centre at NRDC, Govt of India, awarded twice as Best Innovation Support Centre. Named among “100 IP Leaders” by WIPF, he has coordinated 500+ IP programs, transferred 75+ technologies, and built collaborations with academia, industry, PSUs, and global organizations (WIPO, USPTO, DKPTO, JETRO, UK-IPO).
